From Dirt to Life

Written by:

A group of unbelievers were mocking the Bible. Their leader scoffed, “You’d have to be an absolute fool to believe this! God making a person from dirt? Breathing life into them? Ridiculous!” The table erupted in laughter.

Nearby, an old man quietly approached. “Lads,” he said, “I can’t explain everything about creation. But I can tell you about a time God came to the lowest, most broken part of this town. He reached down into the filth, found the most wretched, hopeless piece of dirt imaginable, and breathed His Spirit into it.” He paused, his gaze sweeping across their faces. “That dirt,” he said, “became a new man, filled with God’s peace and love. I know, because I was that man.”
